Indigenous Immersive Incubator
was an incubator held April 2023 for a historic delegation of 10 Indigenous artists and advisors.
The delegation gathered on MIT's campus to share their work with each other and with the wider community. The theme of the incubator was “Indigenous Knowledge and Immersive Technologies.” With our partners at the Indigenous Screen Office (ISO) of Canada, the cohort incubated their own immersive media projects, toured various MIT labs, and met with Indigenous leaders from across the territory over four days.
